At Hrimnir, we explore traditional culinary techniques from the Nordic region and Japan, including smoking, preservation, fermentation and grilling, to create a new dimension of the classic Japanese dish ramen. We are now opening a new restaurant in central Oslo in February, with the same focus on quality, craftsmanship and flavor.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking Line Chefs, Prep Chefs and Noodle Chefs in various positions ranging from 40% to 100%. We are looking for cooks who are passionate about quality, work with precision in a high-paced environment and thrive when the kitchen is busy. You will fit right in if you stay calm under pressure, take responsibility during service and contribute to a positive and professional team.
You will become part of a strong kitchen team working with high-quality ingredients and high standards, whether you are on the line, delivering consistent and precise prep or ensuring perfect noodles. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing and cooking high-quality food in accordance with our concept
• Maintaining cleanliness in line with current hygiene and cleaning standards
• Contributing to a good working environment and strong collaboration with colleagues
• Working evening and weekend shifts
The qualities we are looking for:
• You work efficiently and keep things organized
• You perform well in a fast-paced environment
• You are independent yet a strong team player
• You have a passion for food and are engaged in the restaurant’s operations
Qualifications:
• Solid and broad professional knowledge with experience from kitchen work
• Must speak and understand fluent Norwegian or English
• Good knowledge of food safety (HACCP) and HSE
