Chef at Delicatessen
Delicatessen Majorstuen is looking for a passionate chef to join our team!
Delicatessen is part of Concept Restaurants. Under our umbrella, you find three Delicatessen departments along with the Peruvian restaurant Aymara. Delicatessen has been serving Oslo's best tapas since the start at Grünerløkka in 1999. The atmosphere is casual and the service level high, yet personal.
Responsibilities and qualifications
As a chef you will be in charge of preparing, cooking and plating dishes from our lunch menu, a la carte menu and our set menus.
Some details about what the job requires from you:
Cooperating with the other chefs and maintaining the good quality we are known for
Be able to handle stress and (at times) a high workload
Follow our routines regarding HMS, training and quality-control
Prepare ingredients to your mise en place
Keep your station, yourself and your equipment clean
We are a busy restaurant , so efficiency is a must!
Some of the qualities we are looking for:
You are enthusiastic, service minded and willing to learn
You (preferably) have experience from Spanish cuisine
You are structured, clean and organized
You are able to work independently as well as being a very good team player
You are able to work both evening and weekend shifts
You are solution oriented – a yes sayer!
